Trying to find some inspiration

Wow...Three years since my last journal entry. I have been in a rut for quite a while it seems. Well, I am now trying to get the ol' juices flowing again. I have a couple of pieces I am working on as well as trying to do some sketching. I find that I have a really hard time just sketching with no solid direction. Once I have an idea I can run with it. I am the same way with photography. I suppose that is why I have not been taking as many pictures. I may just start doing some doodle pages and posting them to try and get some ideas of what I want to do.
